In the first-ever episode of The TRU Leader Podcast in 2025, Tracy and Michelle reflect on their evolving New Year’s Eve celebrations, exploring the concept of breakthroughs—both internal and external shifts that significantly impact life and leadership. The discussion emphasizes the importance of self-reflection in identifying subconscious beliefs and norms that limit progress, encouraging leaders to adopt a growth mindset. By proactively shaping their destinies and making mindful choices, leaders can find balance and fulfillment in both personal and professional spheres.
The episode also addresses transitions, particularly for senior leaders nearing retirement, who may struggle with identity shifts. Leaders are urged to avoid burnout by discerning when to push through challenges and when to step back. Breakthroughs often come from recognizing the need for change, whether in setting boundaries or shifting mindsets. Ultimately, the quality of life improves when leaders embrace transitions with curiosity and playfulness, navigating uncertainties with a proactive, reflective approach.
The episode closes with how you can apply to their 2025 Breakthrough Year Mastermind with the application in the full show notes link below.
