Sarcomas

Host: Darryl S. Chutka, M.D., [@chutkaMD] Guests: Steven I. Robinson, M.B.B.S., and Brittany L. Siontis, M.D. When you think of malignancies, sarcomas don’t usually come to mind. They are very uncommon and can occur in numerous locations. In addition, they can be very difficult to diagnose as the symptoms they produce are often very subtle. Approximately 15,000 cases of sarcoma are diagnosed each year in the U.S. and because July is Sarcoma Awareness Month, we’re going to do our part to raise awareness of sarcomas. My guests for this podcast include Steven I. Robinson, M.B.B.S. and Brittany L. Siontis, M.D., both from the Department of Oncology at the Mayo Clinic.
