226 – Reducing referrals with improved diagnosis rates in telehealth; Kirsty Garrett, Doctors on Demand and Adam Brett, ResApp

Did you know that telehealth can improve diagnosis and health outcomes?
Kirsty Garrett has led the exponential growth of the Doctors on Demand telehealth business as CEO for the past three years, achieving the #13 spot in the Australian Financial Review 2021 Fast 100 and #6 spot in Smart Company Fast 50 Awards 2021.
Adam Brett is the director of commercial partnerships at ResApp. He has been with ResApp for approximately twelve months in the commercialisation area, which has been quite exciting for him.

Since 2015, Doctors on Demand has been forging a path to make healthcare more accessible, focusing on what matters most to the patient: convenient, quality healthcare.
In this episode, Pete, Kirsty and Adam explore how telehealth can help take some strain off the healthcare system by reducing referrals, and at the same time improve diagnosis rates across the country and beyond.

This episode will help you to get a better understanding of how a single cell phone app can transform healthcare delivery and patient outcomes in rural and remote Australia. Telehealth is becoming more commonplace in various practices and that topic is also explored in this episode along with improving the clinician’s workflow and much more.
