#119: How to Deal with Grief During the Covid-19 Pandemic with Dr. Lori Wightman
We know many people experienced grief as a result of Covid-19, especially healthcare leaders and frontline staff in the healthcare field.
Although grief is unique to each person, and no one can be compared to one another, there are patterns that significantly impact one’s mind, body, and spirit.
In this episode, nurse executive Lori Wightman shares her personal experience with grief and how she handled it. In addition, she shares some strategies she identified to improve how grief is managed in the workplace.
We discuss her recent article “The Next Chapter: A Leader’s Lessons Learned Through Grief,” and Lori shares how she is helping healthcare leaders and organizations handle grief and establish better support systems for employees.
At the close of the interview, Lori answered a couple of personal questions from our new process called the Missing Questions.
