111- Democratising dental with an app; Heath Fraser & Rebecca VanZutphen, Airsmile
Rebecca is a twenty-year veteran in the dental industry. She got into dentistry right out of high school when she began working as a steri-nurse. Rebecca then worked her way up and has been a practice manager working with Heath for the last ten years. She is passionate about the business side of dentistry, including patient care. A big part of her role is to ensure that the dental team is functioning optimally, or the business side of things gets streamlined, and they are successful.
Heath is a dentist and has been for the past sixteen years. Overall, he too has been in the dental space for twenty years. When Heath opened his patient-focused practice in 2011, Rebecca was his first employee. He is proud to have built his business from the ground up and see it thrive. Being zealous about patient-centred care, he was happy to have been able to craft a team with the same passion.
