Sam Lanyon is the co-CEO and co-founder of Planet Innovation. He is an innovative and strategic business leader with significant experience in strategy, sales, and operations, and he has a successful track record in the global commercialisation of technology-rich products. In addition to his role at PI, Sam is the Executive Chair of Lumos Diagnostics and a non-executive director of Paragon Funds Management.
He holds an honours degree in medical engineering from the University of Melbourne, a postgraduate diploma in management and strategy training from Melbourne Business School and London Business School respectively. Sam has been involved in the health tech, medical devices, and diagnostics industries for about twenty-five years. He has also been in technology products, both on the R and D side and the commercialisation side.
Planet Innovation is a health tech innovation commercialisation company that designs and builds health tech products and businesses. The company’s projects are aligned with targets of clinical outcomes and patient experience to make people healthier across the globe.
