103 – Meaningful education for improved patient experience & outcomes: Will Egan, Ausmed
Will Egan is the Chief Strategic Officer of Ausmed. Will holds advisory and board roles with a number of global consumer and enterprise technology companies. His goal in life is to help Australia build better global companies. Will has a background in technology for building software and ensuring that the products reach the end-user and get used at a scalable and impactful level.
Will got involved with Ausmed in 2007. While he was in university, he went to work there as a secretary. Towards the end of his first year, Will began working on a website build project. At the same time, he was studying business at Monash, and he actually dropped out of that course because it felt so far away from what he understood and learnt business to be on the grounds on the internet.
Ausmed is an education company dedicated to enabling healthcare professionals and health workplaces to ensure education is effective and genuinely improves patient, client, and resident outcomes. Will started at Ausmed in 2007 and worked on the popular Ausmed app that is now used widely across the healthcare community to find, learn, and document their continuous professional development (CPD requirements).
