He then talked about how if it hadn’t been for his wife, who knew pacemakers, his grandfather wouldn’t have received one when he needed it because of insurance issues, a story that helped him illustrate how patient-physician trust has become an issue in the current healthcare space. He tells a third story, told by one guest in his podcast, of entrepreneurship and coming up with a solution to a problem in healthcare, in this case, insulin refrigeration.
