Loren Deutsch Removes Obstacles in Medical Education for Underrepresented Students

Loren Deutsch is a professional educational therapist and licensed clinical social worker who has worked at the border of medical education and clinical social work for 25 years. In 2010, she founded Loren Academic Services (LAS), an educational services company that specializes in Coaching, Curriculum Development, and Consulting for students, residents, faculty, and medical centers.

In today’s episode, Loren talks with us about how sometimes we feel a pressure to solve the whole problem, yet when we can be intentional about a smaller piece of it, we can make just as big of a difference.

In fact, when we come together as a community or to collaborate on a problem, it can be much more meaningful than if you try to solve it all on your own.
