Impact of COVID on Hospitals and Clinics w/Joe Demont
Charlene talks with Joe Demont, CFO at Open Door Community Health Centers. Open Door has a dozen health centers across the Northern California region, serving over 50,000 patients a year, and Joe has been their CFO during a particularly challenging time for nonprofits and healthcare providers more generally. They talk about the impact COVID has had on Open Door, both in terms of finances and the practices they’ve had to adopt to meet the changing needs of their patient population. Then Charlene asks Joe how nurses with budgetary responsibilities can develop a better relationship with their hospital’s CFO.
