In this episode, we talk with our special guest Joel Brown about burnout in Respiratory Therapy and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Respiratory Therapist leaders.
Joel is the CEO and founder of Arrived Leadership (AL) and the President of the Executive Board for Delaware Guidance Services and Vice-Chair of the Board for Leadership Delaware Inc, and the Chair-Elect for the Leadership and Management Section of the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC).
He is an accomplished Respiratory Care Practitioner and an internationally recognized public speaker, researcher, and author. He received a baccalaureate degree in Biology and Respiratory Care from the Millersville University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science Management from Wilmington University in Delaware.
Joel shares some strategies to support Respiratory Therapists to move beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. We also talk about his journey on how he entered the Respiratory Therapy profession and some lessons he learned along the way.
