Klaus Bartosch is the managing director, CEO and co-founder of 1st Group. His involvement in the technology industry spans over thirty years. Prior to starting 1st Group, Klaus worked at another ISX listed business; Hostworks, whose customers were all the major online companies in the country. Klaus had the opportunity to see so many companies move from their early years to become multi-billion dollar juggernauts and transform the way in which their industries used to operate traditionally into moving them online.
From his background, Klaus understands what it takes to become a dominant national online platform and the necessities to succeed in this market other than the usual things required by start-ups. His background is deeply rooted in tech and seeing industries transformed with the use of technology.
1st Group was founded in 2011 and is the ASX listed digital health company behind the product myhealthfirst.com.au and other booking platforms and portals in the veterinary and government sectors. My health first provides an easy to use online search and appointment booking tool and offers a range of value-added apps and services that facilitate digital patient engagement. The team at my health first is passionate about improving patient care, healthcare practice and doctor productivity. In essence, 1st Group aims to transform how consumers interact with healthcare, starting with the fundamental issue of booking an appointment.
