Eileen Martin tells women to stop waiting to be asked
In this episode, Eileen Martin, Global Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for EMD Serono shares how different countries address their unique DEI barriers. For example, China is working to get more Asian nationals in leadership positions, North America is challenged with issues about race and getting more women in positions in power, and Germany is faced with changing tax laws that discourage women from returning to work after having children.
One of her main messages is, it doesn’t matter who your are or how you identify, there’s always an opportunity to amplify someone else.
