Impact of COVID on Hospitals and Clinics w/Joe Demont

Charlene talks with Joe Demont, CFO at Open Door Community Health Centers. Open Door has a dozen health centers across the Northern California region, serving over 50,000 patients a year, and Joe has been their CFO during a particularly challenging time for nonprofits and healthcare providers more generally. Charlene Platon, MS, RN, FNP-BC, is Director of Ambulatory Nursing at Stanford Health Care and Chair of the ACNL Communication and Voice Committee.

Charlene’s overarching goal as a healthcare leader and nurse innovator is to discover new and creative solutions to improve care delivery and operations. She is passionate about utilizing innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration to address organizational challenges, transform healthcare, and empower nurses.

Founded in 1978, ACNL has spent over 40 years helping nurses advance their professional practice through continuing education, networking, and scholarship opportunities. ACNL’s overall purpose is to equip nurses to lead self, others and systems. ACNL works closely with other nursing organizations in California and throughout the nation.
