006: Reconnecting with Ourselves Through Lessons from Animals and Nature with Jo Courtney
Over the years, humans have done tremendous work teaching and preparing horses for a variety of entertainment and work purposes. Horses can be seen working with and for people in a number of activities such as horseback riding, barrel racing, and polo. But what we don’t realize is that humans have a lot more to learn from horses and every other animal than what we teach them.
From learning how to reconnect with ourselves, understanding the importance of letting go, and grounding ourselves, Jo sheds light on what humans can learn from animals and nature. They hold a frequency that helps us align ourselves back to an equilibrium.
We can apply these learnings to how we work and live our everyday lives. By simply taking a pause in between tasks throughout the day, we are able to be more present in each moment.
It’s so easy to get lost in our day-to-day activities, focus on everyone else and forget ourselves.
Jo shares how we can give ourselves the same love and care we show others.
