There Are No Rules: Doctoring Differently with Dr. Naomi Lawrence-Reid
Naomi Lawrence-Reid, M.D. is a board-certified pediatrician and founder of Doctoring Differently, an educational platform centered around physician advocacy, workplace protections, and career support. Dr. Lawrence-Reid created Doctoring Differently after personally exploring a variety of unconventional careers outside of full-time clinical practice that are often unknown to physicians. She now utilizes her unique methodology to teach physicians of all specialties how to custom create careers that prioritize their individual interests while practicing medicine in ways that promote lifelong curiosity, creativity, and satisfaction.
Dr. Lawrence-Reid is a proud Boston-area native and a graduate of Wake Forest University and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She completed her pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in Bronx, New York, and has served as a staff physician at Rady Children’s Hospital, Kaiser Permanente, and various southern California hospitals. Dr. Lawrence-Reid is the owner of NLR Med Aesthetics and remains a vocal advocate for health and safety policies that protect the children of San Diego county.
