I take it upon myself to raise issues of perimenopause with everybody who is 40 and over in my practice. And to normalize what they’re going through because a lot of people they either don’t know that its part of perimenopause, they just assume that its normal or its a part of aging, and I think that educational piece is where we can empower women to really take care of themselves in a way that is more meaningful for them. -Dr. Beverly Joyce
