Eva Gallagher is the Vice President, Head of Medical Affairs at Agios Pharmaceuticals, and Assistant Professor, at Georgetown University. She received her Ph.D. in Nursing and Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota. Ms. Gallagher is responsible for hiring and developing of two teams of Medical Science Liaisons across the country and for the oversight of patient advocacy department and initiatives in oncology, hematology, and rare diseases.
Previously, Eva worked as a nurse practitioner in oncology and hematology and then transitioned into research within the biotech industry. Her extensive oncology career includes leadership roles within medical affairs where she was responsible for oversight of all scientific content as well as business development outside of the United States.
Eva is to founder and CEO of RN2 Pharma, an organization that helps nurses discover a way to use their nursing knowledge, talents, and skills to continue helping people in a fabulous [pharmaceutical] industry where the goal is to bring life-saving therapies to patients in need.
