Episode 35 – Yuen Toh

Yuen Toh is a compassionate leader committed to fostering psychological safety, wellbeing and a sense of belonging within teams, thereby enabling accountability, resilience, and creativity.

Having originally trained as a pharmacist and still undertaking some work as a clinical pharmacist, Yuen is the first Clinical Pharmacist to serve as a Primary Car Network Clinical Director (in Lincolnshire). She created a support network for pharmacists and technicians across Lincolnshire, is an expert speaker for the Centre for Postgraduate Pharmacy Education and on the advisory panel for the Lincoln University MPharm programme. She is currently the Clinical Lead for Primary Care Education and Networking sessions and leads monthly education sessions for Clinical Pharmacists across her region. Yuen is strongly involved in the clinical reference groups, pharmacy faculty and primary care workforce planning.

Passionate about Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), Yuen takes the lead in cultivating connected cultures through her role in the connected cultures leadership and peer support network. Through this initiative, she aims to build an inclusive environment that embraces differences, empowers individuals, and encourages collaboration.

Yuen also contributes to education by occasionally teaching in universities, providing guidance to International Medical Graduates (IMGs), and participating in postgraduate courses. As the Clinical Lead for primary care education, she ensures that healthcare professionals receive comprehensive training, ultimately enhancing patient care delivery.

With her expertise in leadership, commitment to EDI, and contributions to education, Yuen is dedicated to making a positive impact in the healthcare industry and nurturing a culture of inclusivity, resilience, and collaboration.
