50: Empowerment with Dr. Leah Houston
Dr. Leah Houston is a board-certified Emergency Physician that enjoyed the high-intensity work and high-level problem solving required but came to realize that reactionary emergency medicine was missing the mark. Instead, she decided to focus more on prevention of disease through her own private practice and building Humanitarian Physicians Empowerment Community (100% physician-owned blockchain technology platform). We talk today about feeling disempowered as physicians, our digital identities as physicians and how HPEC plans to protect physicians.
