Using Food to Make Your Health Better with Dr. Monique May

This episode tackles the topic of eating healthy food to improve your health. My special guest for this episode is Dr. Monique May, aka The Physician in the Kitchen. She is a board-certified family physician, author of Meal Masters: Your Simple Guide to Modern-Day Meal Planning, is an Amazon best-seller. Her follow up book, Doc Fix My Plate! The Physician In The Kitchen®’s Prescriptions For Your Healthy Plate Makeover, along with a self-proclaimed witch gadget junkie. Everyone mentions healthy eating, but what does that even mean. We’re here to demystify this for you. No matter what your relationship is with food, we have something for you.

Please note that this isn’t an episode to shame you into being vegan or to make you feel bad about that piece of cake or fried chicken you had the other day. This is an episode to provide you with some tools and framework to help you fuel your body better each day.

Questions this episode will answer:

-Is there a specific diet that is best?

-What are strategies to eat healthy without breaking the bank?

-How do you make healthy food actually have flavor?

-What are ways to socialize that are activities other than eating?
