Charlene talks with Zachary R. Krom, Ph.D., RN, CCRN, CHSE, NPD-BC. Zach is nurse educator and researcher with 20 years of experience in educational needs assessment, program development, implementation and evaluation for healthcare professionals. Recently, he and a team from ACNL’s Research and Evidence-Based Practice committee presented at ACNL’s Annual Conference, offering best practices to other nurse researchers on the publishing process from start to finish. Charlene and Zach discuss crucial first steps in the publishing process, how to respond to criticism from readers and other authors, and how to promote the finished product once it’s out in the world.
