ACNL In Action: Finding Joy in Work
Charlene talks with Lee Galuska, Director of Nursing Practice, Education and Research for UCLA Health. Lee oversees the professional development and lifelong learning opportunities for more than 4,500 nurses, the nursing evidence-based practice and research programs, and the Magnet Recognition process. Lee and Charlene discuss why it’s important for nurses to find meaning in their work, what we can say to nurses who think enjoying their work is just another obligation, and of course, how we as organizations, managers, and individuals can bring more joy and meaning to the profession.
