A seasoned healthcare journalist, Surani has spent 15+ years covering the bipoharma sector. She started her investigative journalism career in London covering clinical trials & business deals for BioPharm Insight (FT Group), later moving to New York to continue her work as an enterprise journalist & editorial leader for GlobalData & Reorg. She is now a freelance journalist, consultant writer & podcast producer based in Madrid, launching the Vax Files podcast in 2021 & Raising Biotech in 2023. She has a Bachelor of Medical Science & Master of Health Communications from Sydney University.
