Child and adolescent eating disorders are serious diseases, characterized by a range of physical and psychological consequences. They are often associated with a chronic course and numerous relapses. This episode focuses on how primary care providers can assess for and identify eating disorders in child and adolescent patients. We will discuss high yield assessment questions and tools that you can use in your primary care practice when you suspect a young patient may meet the criteria for an eating disorder.
