If you listen to traditional money advice from gurus, they’ll tell you if you have no money coming in to stop all spending. I respectfully disagree! Despite have a really low income there were some things that we continued to spend money on that were a million percent worth it. Listen in to hear my thoughts on spending money despite having a low income.
I would bet that you likely have an Amazon Prime membership. Am I right? There is a monthly cost associated with having that membership but on the flip side you get amazing prices on all the essentials. Totally worth it.
That was the key to our streaming, I had a personal shopper, and I was able to price shop on everything we were purchasing. Did I need the personal shopper? No. In fact I probably sent back 90% of the things they sent me, but I didn’t have to drag three kids to the store to search the racks. That was worth it when I did in fact need some new clothes.
Was everything that I spent money on the right choice? No. And I’m sharing those decisions as well. I’m sharing it all. The good, the bad, and the ugly and why the decisions I made are the reason my businesses are now sitting on a firm foundation and I’m working for a practice I love.
It’s been a tough few years, but looking back it has all been worth it. Every penny pinched and spent has gotten us to where we are today!
“You don’t need to spend huge amounts of money in a huge amount of places to be successful.” Dr. Errin Weisman
