226: Secret Dreams with Dr. Toni Liu

Living authentically and being yourself are not always the easiest things to do in this world. Sometimes being you and making choices that make you happy is the hardest thing you’ll ever do. But according to Dr. Toni Liu, it’s also one of the most rewarding.

Secretly, Dr. Liu has always wanted to be a cartoonist, but she was scared to share that part of herself with the world. While experiencing burnout in her medical career, she found herself drawn back to art and began creating again. This led her to realize that her true passion was no longer to be a doctor, if it ever was.

She then started using her art to educate her patients and make it very easy to remember some of the more important details of female health. Now she’s a life coach helping to spread the reality of living a life that is true to your dreams, passions, and beliefs.

Dr. Liu is also looking forward to traveling the world and living the nomad life. Her love of people is so obvious as she speaks and her desire to document the similarities between humans all over the world is inspiring.

Listen as she shares her story and what it took for her to realize that her passions were more important than anyone else’s expectations. Dr. Liu also has an amazing Facebook group where she is supporting women all over the world in realizing their dreams. If you have a minute, check it out!

“We only get one life and you are worthy, you are amazing,  you have so many gifts inside of you.” Dr. Toni Liu
