Michael is a respiratory therapist and previously the Chronic Lung Disease Coordinator at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He has focused on treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) for the last several years, and is the project coordinator for WMed’s NHLBI COPD Learn More, Breath Better subcontract in Kalamazoo. Michael is now Senior Director of Public Outreach and Education for the COPD Foundation.
