In this episode, we meet Trevor Stratton, co-founder of International Indigenous HIV & AIDS Community (IIHAC) and a globally renowned Indigenous HIV activist to explore the health challenges and priorities for indigenous communities around the world – we focus on biomedical advances in HIV, viral hepatitis and dependency, the urgent need for inclusion in epidemiology research and how the deep relationship between communities, their land and ancestors provides unique insights to provide sustainable, accessible healthcare.
