Episode 47 – Kim Downey
Kim Downey is a physical therapist, with extensive work experience in hospitals, sub-acute rehab facilities, outpatient settings, homes, and schools.
She is also a recent 3-time cancer survivor, experiencing thyroid and bilateral breast cancer all since the Covid pandemic.
Based on Kim’s unique perspective as both a healthcare professional and a patient, she has a broad understanding of the current challenges facing both doctors and patients.
She started her YouTube channel 4-months ago, “Stand Up (for) Doctors!” where she interviews primarily doctors, as well as patients, and others who intersect with healthcare, and has already published 26 episodes up to today.
Kim has become a fierce advocate for physician well-being, and her mission is to effect positive change in healthcare, for doctors and patients.
