S3. Ep1. Nurses You Should Know with Joanna Uribe MSN, RN and Sandy Cayo DNP, FNP-BC, RN
We have a new website! Check out episodes and additional content on https://www.thevirtualclinicalpodcast.com
We join Joanna Uribe, a Johnson and Johnson Nurse Innovation Fellow and Sandy Cayo, Vice President of Clinical Transformation and discuss their careers as nurses and most importantly, why they started Nurses You Should Know.
Nurses of color have long-shaped the nursing profession and transformed healthcare, but their stories are underrepresented in the broader nursing narrative. A new nurse-led project, “Nurses You Should Know,” is using storytelling to help close the representation gap by amplifying their contributions.
The project lives on Medium where you can find out more about some very important historical figures, Black Nursing History, AAPI History and about the future of this project.
