Using Meditation to Rekindle the Joy of Nursing Practice
On episode 449 of The Nurse Keith Show nursing and healthcare career podcast, Keith interviews Betsy Thompson, RN, MSN, CCRN, an Immersive Meditation Guide and Growth Coach dedicated to guiding her fellow nurses out of the pits of despair and back to a sense of relief and joy in their nursing practice through the power of meditation.
Betsy has been a practicing critical care nurse for over 15 years, working at the bedside, in leadership, and in education. She obtained a BSN from Ohio State University in 2007, an MSN in Nursing Leadership from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2016, and she is also CCRN certified.
With a passion for holistic nursing and all things spiritual, Betsy sought out simple and effective ways to combat nurse burnout and pursued training in guided meditation. Now, along with working directly with patients, she is an Immersive Meditation Guide & Growth Coach.
