Episode 74: How to Know Your Value & Ask for What You're Worth in Organizational Practice

Join me over a post workout shake as I chat with you about knowing your value and how to bring that to your workplace so that you design your practice in a way that aligns with you and your self-worth.
1. In an ideal situation, write down all it is that you want for yourself (income, time, autonomy, patient care time…)
2. Compare what you want to the bigger market of healthcare that you’re in. Also, consider your niche and focus that might add to your value as a provider and employee.
3. Consider involving yourself and being open to learning more about the greater system of healthcare and how it impacts your value and delivery of care.
4. No success in your patient care outcomes is too small. Ask yourself: why do patients stay with me? Ask your patients how they are receiving of your services. Those are your successes and value you’re offering.
