189 – Going Global: How to streamline your strategy. Sabeen Shaikh, Crescent Strategy Consulting

Australia is like the goldilocks of locations to get started when you’re innovating in healthcare.  It’s not too big, not too small.

How great is it when you see innovations from within our fine land and help more Australians achieve better patient outcomes or improve something in the healthcare system?

But after a bit of local success, the usual question is then; what about the rest of the world? Can you take some success you’ve had here, and take it to other parts of the world?

How is that achieved?  Is it about replicating what works in Australia and copying it to other countries, or does it require a total redesign of the product and strategy to fit the new environment?

In this episode, Pete chats with Sabeen Shaikh from Crescent Strategy Consulting about going global, and how to scale healthcare innovations to other countries.  They discuss how to streamline a strategy, and uncover some common pitfalls to avoid when entering other markets.
