George Margelis is a medical practitioner deeply involved in health and technology for the last forty years. He has been CIO of a private hospital group and managed innovative software development teams to produce online health applications.

The Aged Care Industry Information Technology Council was officially formed in 2007. Its goal is to help providers utilise technology efficiently and effectively in their organisations to deliver better care. 

In this episode, George and Pete explore whether digital aged care is the answer to several issues within the sector. Aged care in Australia is essential, yet there are so many challenges and missing parts to delivering the best care possible. Tune into this episode to learn how technology and digital health can play a role in improving care delivery to enhance the lives of our elderly.
