Dr. Jason Sole – Rethinking the Police
Jeremy has a conversation with Dr. Jason Sole. Jason has taught criminal justice at Metro State and Hamline Universities in the Twin Cities. He’s also served as the president of the NAACP in Minneapolis, and worked as a criminal justice advisor for the Mayor of St. Paul,.
His dedication now is to organizing supporting the lives of people in our communities who are struggling the most because of systemic forms of oppression; black and ethnic minorities, indigenous people, women, LGBTQ, the disabled, the homeless and folks struggling with substance abuse or addiction.
He’s also co founder Humanize My Hoodie. Together they discuss alternatives to modern policing and ways to give aid using the same resources.
