But while numbers have climbed up in some countries like South Africa, the continent has largely escaped the worst of the pandemic. CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta speaks with CNN International Correspondent David McKenzie, who’s based in South Africa, on how the continent has lived with the pandemic so far.
